There's a quick book form in the footer on the Vue home page. We use this to start booking our tickets.
To choose our location, we can scroll through a list or search.
We then pick which film we want to see from a list
We then select the date and time, before continuing to the next step.
There seems to be some sort of problem on this form where the text isn't showing up, including on the "next" button.
Seats are picked for you by default, but you can update them, which is what we're doing here. The seat picker clearly shows you where you'll be in relation to the screen.
Once you've picked your seats and are happy with the booking, you click the "Review and pay" button to continue.
This page just gives you a summary of your order and asks you to either log in and pay, or continue as guest.
The "Log in and pay" button is outlined and more visible than the guest button, so it seems that's the one Vue would rather we click on. We continue as guests anyway.
Here we're asked to provide an email address. We're told it's so they can send us the tickets, so that gives us a clear incentive to use an email address we're going to check.
Here we add our card details and pay. Most of this part of the video is removed so my payment details aren't leaked.
The tickets have been booked. We now have our booking reference and are told our tickets have been emailed to us.
We're also told that all we have to do it show the email to the staff when we arrive.
A 24 hour booking line is also shown on this page, which is reassuring incase we want to speak to someone about the booking.
